Course Overview

T Levels are a brand-new qualification, under the awarding body NCFE CACHE. They are available to students aged 16-19 years and are equivalent to studying three A Levels. They will suit students who enjoy combining classroom learning and work placed learning. They are a two-year course that have been developed in collaboration with industry employers and businesses to bring classroom learning and industry skills together. On completion of the Education and Childcare T level, students will be provided with a license to practice and will be counted in staff: child ratio’s during placement.

Grade 4 or above in English and Maths plus 4 other GCSE’s at grade 4 or above.

1. 750 hours in industry placement

2. License to practice – can go straight into the work force / awarded with UCAS points so HE progression is an option

3. Work in a fast-paced environment

5. English and Maths is embedded – a requirement from the EYS
