The Celebration Event was put on by CITC and our BTEC department, in which all of our partner colleges, staff and students that are participating on our BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development course had the opportunity to come and experience a day in Manchester City’s amazing Tunnel Club facilities.
The staff and students arrived and mingled with each other, whilst enjoying an illustrious buffet for a short while.
Upon finishing the students and staff had the opportunity to go into the stand and look at the stadium from inside the ground and take pictures with the pitch.
The event started with videos and memoirs of the memorable moments from the last two years of study, then onto student achievement awards.
Five major awards were handed to:
Tutors Award – Charlie Clark
Coaches player – Tom Deering
Players player – Logan Sampson
Most goals – Logan Sampson
The 5th and final award given to one of our learners was Liam Duckworth who won this award for overcoming so much over the past 2 years. Liam is now looking to go to university through CITC’s programme at Manchester Metropolitan University.
