The impact of Covid, Brexit and a fragile economy means every penny spent needs to deliver a return. Investment in training is no different. The recent Further Education white paper and adult education laws from the government provide opportunities for a skills-led recovery. Our specialist training service at The Cheadle College offers bespoke training packages, apprenticeship programmes, and recruitment schemes to provide employers with a more motivated and dedicated workforce.
We have experience working with a wide range of organisations, both large and small across a range of industry sectors to help increase turnover, improve staff motivation, retention and productivity.
To make sure we are meeting the local needs and demands of organisations across Greater Manchester and the North-West, we run a number of Employer Forums to shape the courses, qualifications, skills and training we offer. We have a number of existing forums that have been set up and are free to join, with new groups forming as demand grows. Get in touch with our team to find out more information about our next forums in the following sectors;
The Cheadle College offers a work-based mentoring programme designed to support employees in becoming a mentor and equip them with the skills to help new employees settle into the workplace. Support is offered in a range of areas including confidence building, team working, mentoring and coaching skills, and leadership skills to name a few.
Businesses who have adopted the mentoring programme have seen increases in staff motivation and retention, business profitability, efficiency and flexibility within their organisation.
