How to Apply

Online Form: Simply use the online form below, by selecting what course(s) you are interested in. A member of the team will then get in touch with you regarding your enquiry.
Via Email: Use our downloadable version of the Enrollment Form and Learner Agreement which you can find below and send it to our Adult Learning Team at distancelearning@tcg.ac.uk once completed. Instructions for how to download, fill out, and send can be found below.
Step 1
Launch the PDF document from the link above ‘Enrollment Form and Learner Agreement (Editable Version)’. Click on the “Download” link or the PDF icon next to the document. The important thing is that you open the document in your PDF reading program, such as Adobe Reader.
Step 2
Fill in the necessary form fields on the PDF. Drop-down fields will have an arrow to the right of the field that allows you to select an option. List fields will contain a list of options for you to click on, and the options can be viewed by scrolling through using the arrows to the right of the field. Radio buttons and check boxes can be selected by clicking once inside them. Click once in text fields and type in any necessary information.
Step 3
Save the completed PDF form. Use the “File” menu to select the “Save a Copy” option. Choose a folder in which to save the completed form using the “Save In” menu. Type a name into the “File Name” field and click the “Save” button.
Step 4
Go to your email service and click once on the “Compose Mail” link. Type the email address to which the completed PDF form is to be sent (distancelearning@tcg.ac.uk). Click once on the “Attach a File” link, and use the “Look In” menu to locate the folder to which you saved the completed PDF form. Click once on the file name and once on the “Open” button. Reference the PDF form or the reason for which you are sending it in the subject line, and type any necessary message in the body of the email. Click once on the “Send” button when you are ready to send the email and completed form.

Digital Skills
We offer two free qualifications as part of the government’s strategy to improve the digital skills of the adult population. It is estimated that 22% of adults do not have sufficient digital skills for everyday life and work. Available to both employed and unemployed, aged 19+, the new qualifications will help improve the employment prospects of individuals and may help them to support their children’s learning.
Each course is comprised of five units:
- Using Devices and Handling Data
- Creating and Editing
- Communicating
- Transacting
- Being Safe and Responsible Online

The right course for you
Our Digital Qualifications can be delivered at either Entry Level or at Level 1. All learners will be invited to take part in a diagnostic assessment prior to starting their course to ensure they are on the correct level. Courses take between 20 to 30 hours to complete depending on the level and are delivered in a very supportive environment by an experienced tutor.
Digital & Computer skills
In order to get the most out of our Digital Skills courses we have incorporated a number of intermediate computer competencies in order for our learners to get the most out of being online. Some of our topics include:
